Negotiate with them. You can also win in court, but be stuck with a bundle of court costs.

I agree with two of the posters.

Also, be sure that you have "all" of your paperwork and that your file is neat and orderly. The mediator will probably request to see the files/paperwork from both sides

Ask for what you think you should have as well as some compensation for the stress they placed on you.
