Ignoring him, or waiting it out is wrong. Always saying no when he asks is wrong. Doing these things will not get rid of the attention you are getting annoyed with. If he is stuck on you he will not find someone else either.
Girls always think that the best thing to do is just let the man figure it out. Sometimes we are stupid, very stupid. You need to be blunt with him. It will hurt him but you NEED to make sure he really understands that you do not or ever will see him the way he sees you.
He will probably not spend too much time with you for awhile. This is because his pride is hurt. He will heal but the longer you allow him to follow you around the harder it will be later for him to recover. Act now and end this crush of his.
Being honest is the best course of action, always, even if it hurts. Tell the truth and be truthful to your own feelings.

It's painful but just wait them out until they find someone else to really like. In the meantime, just say no to dates, avoid being alone with them (they may consider that a kind of date and it puts you on the spot to respond nicely), date other people and try not to think about how this person is hurting when they see you dating. The person will eventually find someone else.

It is really difficult to let a person know that u do not fancy them. There are many ways to go about it.. you could always play hard to get or avoid the person but that will only make them want you more.
The best possible way would be to tell them in no uncertain terms that you do not feel attracted to them. Tell them that you respect them and their feelings but you are simply not attracted to tm. and that even if you would act in order not to hurt them, you would end up cheating urself and that person.. it would hurt no doubt.. but it;s best to say it

immediately, let them know....we can just be friends, only. I was really hurt in my last relationship and i haven't got over it. Its not fair to you if we got together and they just walked back into my life. I wouldn't want you to get hurt, because chances are i would choose them cause i am still in love.

you must say to him exacty this.."You're a nice guy but I am just not attracted to you" and this will be all you will need to say. If he doesn't get it then you have to be a little rude and say "perhaps you don't understand, let me put it like this, I DON'T like you as much as you may like me"
You just have to be blunt and direct with guys bc they are mostly logical thinkers and theywill get the facts, not some riddle...

Yes and I basically told them that I only saw them like a brother.That gave them respect but also let them know that I had no attraction for them whatsoever.
