If you have a slight cold you can do some excersize still, just don't work at 100%. Rule of thumb is that if you feel to bad to get out of bed, you're to ill to work out (also, never train with a fever). If you've been to work and stuff it will be fine.

Do no exercise til the cold has gone. It'll make you feel worse, make your cold last longer and take your body longer to recover from any activity that you do.
Get better and relax. That way, when you're better (sooner, because you let the illness run it's course) you'll be back to normal and ready to carry on.

i would advise against it.

when your body is attacked by an infection, your immune system uses most of the energy your body has to fight it off. you would be putting more strain on your body by causing a rise in your blood pressure and heartrate which could make your more sick

i would wait till your feel the cold starting to ease up then slowly start your workout back up.

right now rest and lots of fluids is the fastest way for your body to heal itself

nooooooooooo

that will cause it to get worse

id recomend doing really light things like stretching and maybe some aerobics just to stay in decent condition but overworking your body will cause the immune system to not have energy to heal yourself

and then you will get mono w sicknes that lasts you months and months

i had it bcuz of excersizing with a cold

bad cold mono it ruined my life

No it isn't. Gentle exercise is permitted, but even simple viruses can make the heart irritable. theoretically at least this could trigger a rhythm problem, which could be dangerous.

The main remedy to combat cold is to rest up and let your body fight it. So when you exert your body exercising, you are weakening it. And that will let the cold win.

It's up to the individual, if you are feeling really rough then you are not going to feel like doing anything. If it's just a sniffle then just do what you can.
