I was dating a guy for 4 years who I'd fallen in love with. I've now broken up with him and have met someone else who I really like. My new boyfriend says he's fallen in love for the first time and wants to marry me. I haven't fallen in love with him however and I'm wondering (after 6 months!) how many people out there would continue the relationship? Give it time maybe?

I think you know it's time to end, i mean, this guy clearly has fallen in love with you and you can't commit back, don't just keep him around now, be kind and let him go, it's never fun being in a relationship where you're more committed than the other, or vise versa for that matter. let him go and then take some time to just be my yourself and then you'll meet someone who you love just as much as they do you

How you can continue a relationship with someone that you really dont love. Just think what if that person keep waiting and hoping you will fall in love, and the day you keep saying no. He really feel frustated. After for a long period of time you say no to him. Just think of the time, money and all the waiting.

Ask yourself one question would it matter if u lost this person or could u picture yourself being with them for the rest of your life.. After 6 mth there should be some feelings of love if not concider yourselves friends with this person.. If u indeed know that u wont' fall inlove with them , set them free to find love else where.

Dating is what you do to find out if you love someone. If your new man understands your feelings then there is no reason not to continue dating.

I f your not feeling it I would say let him go.He's the one that will only get hurt worse as time goes on.Don't be selfish and lead him on.You sound like your in a tight spot like you don't want to hurt him but the sooner the better would probably be in both of your best interest!Good luck to you!

hey i think tt is juz infatuation that ur boyfriend has for u. by getting married means tt u are the lifelong partner of ur spouse. there're many things which u have to consider. take ur time to understand him more before making the right choice! and if he reli loves u, he would wait for u. good luck!

I prefer getting married to someone I understand perfectly instead of someone I love and doesn't understand at all.
It's up to you to decide what you really want and feel.

6 months is quite a long time. i won't go any further with that guy if i were you.
i don't think guys who talk into marrying to me is cute anymore.
i mean, it's not a comfortable relationship anymore.
i'll feel to dump him right away.

I think that you grow to love someone... and it takes time to fully know that person and what you love or loathe about them....

Give it some time....Hx

Yes, give it a little time. Marriage is not like putting something in your mouth, if its hot, you can spit it out.
