Hello JoJo,
assuming you are travelling to Ireland from the UK, you would be better and quicker catching the Ferry from Swansea, it sails to Cork harbour, and that is as close as you will get to Kerry, check when you want to go, because that ferry is seasonal, and doesn't sail between early January and early March, but it is a good trip, if you are ok at sailing, try and book a cabin, if they have any, and sleep the trip and be ready for a good spot of travelling when you disembark, as you will be refreshed, and take breakfast too before you get off the ship, Happy Sailing, and enjoy Kerry, but be sure to travel the whole Ring of Kerry, it's beautiful, believe me. Good Luck Now........Tony M.........

You should take the ferry from any of the UK's southern ports and sail to Cork, P & O and irish ferries on the net will give you times and fares , you could stay in B&B at a mid way point between the two counties.
