In these days of "political correctness" your argument that it was for religious reasons, would give everyone pause. I think that it would be allowed, but considered strange, if you did this. You didn't mention if the face shield would be in place or not. There was a movement in the national banking association a few years ago to post signs, informing customers, that sunglasses and head coverings were not allowed in the banks. However this did not go anywhere.

You could say what you want, but see what happens when you do enter the bank with the crash helmet on. I think they would rather take the risk of you taking them to court than be held up by some crazed biker.

Make sure you are in the queue behind someone in a veil or a burkah and if they are served then you are home free. If the bank query you about religion say you are a lapsed Sikh and have decided to wear a crash helmet rather than a turban when riding your bike. A tinted visor rather than a clear one would really be the icing on the cake.

They would probably call you a d*ck and kick you out, you cant wear it because it obscures your identiy which is a problem if you rob them. strictly speaking your not aloud in a petrol station with your helmet on.
... but then again these minority groups do get to do pretty much what ever they like because god forbid we offend their culture, i heard last year a muslim woman was allowed to have her licence photo taken with her hijab on. heres me thinking it was against there religion to leave there house without a male family member present, why arent they driving. cos they make up the rules of there religion as they go and we dont understand there religion and go along with it.

Yes, you can. Just like you can fart in public, pick you nose in McDonalds, or do any of 1,000 other obnoxious things. Covering your face is covering your identity and the only reason to do that is to remain unrecognized.....or did you intend on goosing the clerk, you might then indeed need a helmet.
You have to know that you will scare the crap out of every employee in the bank, so why do it?
Right now our freedoms are hanging by a thread. Don't abuse them for nothing........

Sure. But all you will be able to do is stand there and look silly. Try to cash a check and they will insist on identification. Recently, a dispute arose in a bank when an Islamic woman wearing a head to toe black garment (burka?) refused to show her face so the teller could confirm her identity when she attempted to withdraw money from her account.

You can enter the bank wearing an helmet quite legally by joining a company who deliver valuables to the bank.
which would be handy as you would be paid as well.

Your religion would have to have a reputation for terrorist acts first. If this is the case, then to avoid any reprocusions by not allowing to to enter with the helmet, they would allow you in, to avoid bad press and all.

if youre black or asian probably. If youre white I doubt it. I had this argument with Tesco stores a few years ago after going in with my bike helmet on. The manager said to me 'Tesco policy is that all customers without distinction of race, religion or gender must be clearly identifiable whilst shopping in store' I then pointed out an asian woman wearing a face veil and asked him if he was going to ask her to remove her veil. He said 'no, shes wearing that because of her religion'

No, but muslim women are allowed to wear a full face veil. For all i know she could be an armed robber, as could somebody wearing a crach helmet. Its wrong i agree, but its pc brigade banging on about human rights.
