I'm in year 10, studying year 11 IT, although i'm only 14. There are a few guys in my class who like me, and although i'm not worried, i'm confused. In class one day, a guy came up to me and said "I like you a lot, but im not going to go out with you because your to young" im glad he can control himself, but my ex is older than me [by about a year and a half], so what's this guys problem? Did he tell me to let me know there is nothing between us, or there is something there? Does he really like me?

He does like you but he thinks you are too young which is nice....he has just paid you a compliment and he is not a perv.

Who knows what his motives were. Either he likes you or he doesn't. You say there are guys in your class who like you, but you don't tell us who interests you. Do you like any of these guys? Or are you only interested since you think they may like you? Figure out who you like and why you like that person and then go from there. I was 14 in my sophomore (10 yr) year and I was in math and science classes with juniors and seniors (11 and 12yr). These boys were 16-17 years old. They would flirt with me and a few of them liked me. However, I didn't feel comfortable taking it any farther. While you may feel that you are as mature as they are, you are still younger and depending where you live, they might get in trouble for dating you. There are plenty of available 14- 15 year old guys out there. Good luck!

I really think the has a liking towards you, he was just being honest of it. And he was being honest about his interest but considering your youth. Some guys like different things whether that girls that are older or just girls with blonde hair. I am just simply saying not to read too much into this situation, if he is really interested he will come to you.

At the age of 14. Baby girl..... boy or boys. Shouldn't be your main objective. Yet I awill commend you on. Pursuing your education. In any event. He seems to show an inkling of interest. In an honest but subtle way.

I don't know what his problems is . I believe that comment he made was ignorant. If he wanted to go with you age wouldn't be anything but a number. An d your boyfriend age is fine just as long as he isn't beyond the legal age to drink. 21

Ok first of all i am 14 years old too. The boy who i think purposed u is quite intelligent.He wants u to know that he likes u but is too scared to tell that.So after he told u he wanted that u should be friendly with him although u don't like him.I can say that becoz that happened to me.

He's got a good head on his shoulders and you have plenty of time for that. Just hang with friends for now. Surely it's going to be years before you really want to be too serious with anyone. It doesn't mean you can't set up a nice outing for a group of friends, including him, to say go skating one Sunday afternoon or whatever you all like to do.

That's weird of him to say that. Maybe he wants something between you guys, but he's scared. How old are the other kids in your class?
Maybe you should ask why he thinks you're too young. He might think you're immature, and you definatly don't seem like you are.

u knw..i had ma first guy when i was 13 nd guess how old was he?..he waz 17...nywayz the pnt here..he was jus pointin to u that he does like u..buy hez scared that u will reject him coz of ur age..so if u do like him..i suggest that u go to him nd tell him if he wantz to give it a try nd that u dnt mind to go out witt guyz.ok good luck
