I am 20 yr old full time college student, taking 19 credits.. i have been dating a guy i like for awhile, hes 28,,he payed for everything at first but he invited me to his friends St Pattys party, it was at a big club that was catered.. He told me its $50 a person.. I met him at his friends house where some of his friends were.. In front of everyone he tells me,, "do you have the $50? I felt humiliated and handed it over.. He could have asked me later in private... I felt ashamed.. Then he tells me after the party that his friend was upset because she liked him and he brought me to the party...............
Another time last week he told me that if money is a question for me we can dine at the local pizza shop to suit my financial needs...

Is he a jerk?

i am a guy, and i think that sometimes a girl must pay... but under some conditions: for example i may let her pay if we are going to have an ice cream, small restaurant, anything we may do a normal day... but in the special days like Party, New Year, Easter... etc.. i usually pay if i Invited her, if she invites me i may at least participate in some of the price "Girls Sometimes like to spend some money on there boyfriend".. But what he did as an idea is wrong because he invited you without having the required funds in another way he is not ready.. second thing he shouldn't ask you for money in public...
and at last but not least He is Jerk!!! Not because he didn't pay but for what he did after the party.
seems he is using you.. why does he leave that girl although she likes him and goes with you "No offense to you" unless he wants someone to pay instead of him.. if he goes with the other girl he will pay!! Got it..
so after he is done from party and enjoys time.. he tells you "that if money is a question for me we can dine at the local pizza shop to suit my financial needs..." i think he is done and he satisfied himself enough while you are the one paying everything and doing everything..

Hmmm I fairly like hard adult adult males myself...yet i'm no longer fairly particular why. All i be conscious of is that typically effective adult adult males should be suffocating often times.Plus, after having a tough/hard love courting with my father and mom, its what i'm used to and for this reason have a tendency to fall for adult adult males which have an same view on relationships. this may be the case along with your ex. And yeah, undesirable adult adult males are frequently in simple terms more advantageous thrilling...yet on the top of the day, the effective guy continuously wins, in spite of if it takes him a even as to get there.

By making you pay, it would not seem like he was dangling you in front of her. By having you pay for yourself, he figured that he could keep her as a friend, and you could still go to the party. Unless there is a pattern of behavior like this, I'd just let it go.

What he did the first time was really mean and totally disrespectful, no matter what reason he gave for it. As for your second example, if he didn't say it jokingly...then it was also inappropriate.

FYI: Those Wall Street guys can be huge jerks. He might be having a little "fun" at your expense...you really should be careful and watch out for yourself. You might be getting "played." =(

He acted like this to show the other girl that your a friend and not a girlfriend. So he is probably still making moves on her.

I think you just ditch this guy because he is taking advantage of you...so just try to avoid him and never do go with him to his friends place because he could humiliate you again and would try to embrass you in any situation...so i suggest you just leave this guy...there is surely someone who is better than this guy..
