Pet food recall is dry cat food on the recall list if so is purina on the list and what brand of purina.?

Purina thank goodness is not on the recall list. I was worried because that is what I feed my 2 cats.

No dry pet food is on the list. The recall affects only pet food in cans and pouches manufactured by Menufoods for various pet food companies. See the list in www.menufoods.com

It is true that Friskie's is not on the list but i had a six year old cat that ate only Friskie's wet food,and she died a little over a week ago and she had all the symptoms of kindey faliure.I thought maybe at first she was just sick until I heard about this.My cat died on Sunday and we heard about it Friday.

so although it is not on the list I wouldn't advise anyone to feed their cat this .I've contacted Purina and they are supposed to be checking into it.

purina was not ont he list. It was all wet food and it was a ton of brands but no purina was not on the list so therefore if you have friskies wet food you are fine, and obviuosly the dry food is good too.
