It appears that there is no foolproof method to assess the

age of a tree without cutting and counting the growth rings.

But that is a cruel method that almost kills the tree.

cut off a branch and find the no. of rings which is the tree's age. actually, u can do this with all trees

a simple way is to cut the tree n count d rings(cruel).but i saw 1 of them wrote rings in branches.............thats not accurate b coz branches show sec. growth much later than d main stem,,,,,,,,,so u cant do it dat way..............another process is there but very crude.......in dat u have to estimate tha age of d tree by measurin its relative growth wid respect to d other plants growin along it.......its very difficult though n requires a lot of expertise
