iced water speeds up your metabolism, youre meant to drink it half an hour before a meal and then it will fill you up so you wont eat as much, also it will speed your metabolism up so the food you eat will be digested quicker and not turn into as much fat x

No. Only one thing will prevent the body from absorbing oily substances, by not eating it in the first place. Water, in any event, cannot break down oils or fat - why do you think dishwahing soap are added to wash the dishes.
The body is designed to absorb food and to process (digest)
it. Nothing, nobody and no artificial processes or treatments can stop that.
They can make a lot of money off you though.
(unless you throw it up - which is a good cure. If you have eaten something bad, or by mistake, drink a glass of strong salt water, it makes you throw up with no ill- or side effects).

No. The only weight loss benefit that drinking ice water has is that your body will have to warm up the water to body temperature, this will burn calories and hence speed up metabolism. The effect really is negligible though and won't counter the affects of eating an unhealthy meal.

I don't think so. I've heard of natural yoghurt being helpful for this, but I'm sure it's just best not to eat too much fat!
I have heard that drinking iced water burns calories, as you body uses energy to warm the liquid to body temperature, without taking any calories in.

Sorry, there is no way to prevent fats from being absorbed by the body, if there were a simple way as this, there wouldn't be an obesity problem in the U.S.!

nope it doesnt
nothing will help absorb the fat thats rediculous
things can help digest the fat tho, like grapefruits, or if u wanted to drink something have some tea after a meal(unsweetened) and that will help break down the fat

Nope!
Cold icy water will only lead to you lowering and delaying gastric emptying and slow the peristaltic movement of the intestines resulting to longer absorption time and delayed foecal evacuation.

I haven't hear that before and it doesn't sound very likely. Drinking water after a meal simply serves to dilute your digestive juices and wil impair digestion.

No, your internal body temperature would overpower the coldness of the water anyway.
