I'm usually really stressed but now that I have a bit of free time on my hands, I want to relax...but it seems that every time I try to relax, something comes up to interrupt my state of mind. How do I make the best of the little time I have to relax?

The thing that relaxes me is when I can sit and enjoy my environment. If its raining, listen to the rain hitting the ground. If its quiet, enjoy the silence. If its sunny, feel the heat on your skin. If its cloudy, enjoy the formations. If its loud, well even enjoy that for the fact that you can even hear. The smells, feelings...just everything! Its so relaxing for me. I know its hard to do, but you really do have to forget about everyday life and literally be in your own little world. Don't concentrate, but just let yourself slip away. Its hard to get use to, but when you can do that for a few minutes a day, its so nice.

Do yoga. It will relax your mind and your body.

If you cannot do it because you are not at home, listen to music that has nature sound in them like waves, thunder. Make sure no one is singing in the music. Just pure music.

Go get movies that you really like and watch them. Get on the computer and play some games or just look around on the internet. Answer questions on here. That's what I do when I get bored and have free time.
