If you are dating someone… but aren’t officially going out… are you boyfriend and girlfriend if you’re not dating other people? I get different versions from people but I don’t understand.

You usually aren't boyfriend and girlfriend until someone expresses that they want to commit. If you tell her that you want to be with her or vice versa and there is an agreement, then you are together. Otherwise, you are dating which means you're getting to know one another to see if you want to commit to each other.

I don't know, but to make sure, just ask your girl or guy if you two are officially boyfriend/girlfriend. That should clear things up.

Nope! Dating is a lot different! You can date many women at a time and that doesn't mean they are your girlfriends.
