Absolutely nothing. It takes a strong character to admit that they don't know something or were wrong. In fact, people who have learned to do this actually acquire more information in life as they are able to say, "No, I don't know, will you tell me?" Also, people love love love to share information--and the curious person is unwittingly acquiring information and making friends at the same time. After all, any one person can't be expected to know everything--and it's good practice to ask questions and have an open mind.
