Seriously, what should I take?
It is a formal vacation...formal dining, formal transportation, etc...
I've never been to Hawaii, this will be my first time.
I only have one week to pack. Any suggestions?

It's not much of a vacation if it's a "formal" vacation in Hawaii. In general, the only thing you need on a Hawaiian vacation is a bathing suit and money. If you are going formal, then I guess a "formal" vacation in Hawaii is the same as a "formal" vacation anywhere else.

Be sure to check out the weather (usually warm to hot) and prone to rain showers. Consult www.weather.com

Formal will suck in Hawaii. Formal means long dresses, tuxedos and other hot and uncomfortable clothing. Hawaii is tropical in climate and the temperatures should be in the mid 80s with equal humidity. Pray for tradewinds and no Kona winds...those are hot and dry.

I would also pack shorts, sleeveless bouses or shirts, and sandals in addition to swimwear. Why anyone would do formal vacation in Hawaii is beyond me but good luck with it.

best to bring: swinsuit, polos, shorts, dasters anything that can be tropical. you know hawaii is not that formal on what you think, but if you want to be formal try to bring some fromal kits, dresses that are so much formals like long skirts, blouses, cute t-shirts like that

YOUR SO LUCKY THAT YOUR GOING TO HAWAII
goodluck, and enjoy your trip to hawaii
