How do i delete apple software update?

I downloaded quicktime inorder to see some videos and clips but i thought appleupdate is to help me update quicktime but it is not! so how do i uninstall it?

If you downloaded quicktime, you should have the latest version. If you're on Windows, delete it from add/remove under control panel.

Which version did you download? There's one for Mac and another for Windows. Did you try Add and Remove programs?

Can you do a restore point to a time just before you did the update? That's what I would do.
