Hey all, currently been with my girlfriend for over a year, and were wondering what are some signs that I know I'm keeping her happy with the relationship, if there is anything I'm doing wrong, or things I can improve on. Now I know some of you will say why don't you ask her? I have and she has said she is happy, and I should trust her I know, but I just want to make sure because I really love her, and maybe for some strange reason she just isn't being totally honest. There is not a distrust factor, just want to be the best I can be for her. Thanks in advance!

Oh Yeah might I add, I am currently living with her for 8 months.. So yeah we see each other everyday. I don't wanna get sick of seeing her.

So by me asking this question, am I not trusting her, am I being a bad boyfriend, and no I'm not a pushover, we both are independent people. She does her thing, I do my thing, we both do our thing u know? idk what im trying to say here

When we love a person very dearly we become totally possessed with her.This is what seems to happening to you.There is an unknown fear in your mind that she is not honest to you.If you remove this fear then it would not be necessary for you to keep on thinking on how to keep her happy.In this modern society where cheating and being dishonest to our life partner has become so common,your fear will unnecessarily spoil your relationship.So keep faith.

Well as long as you are putting in effort with the relationship then all should be good. By effort I mean buying her random gifts, organising dinners and surpising her, doing her house work etc.
If you are worried about the relationship then as you have stated talk to her, but try not to over complate the situation if there is no need to.
Also remember that you should ensure that you are looking after your needs while being in the relationship. Remember if your needs aren't being met either discuss with your girlfriend about how your needs aren't being met or simple walk away

Play 21 questions, you ask a question, have her ask a question, explain that honesty is one of the rules of the game. Ask questions like,
1. What do you wish I did more often?
2. What flaw do I have that drives you crazy?
3. What is the sweetest thing I've ever done for you?
and so on.... hope this helps.

see the fact that you want to be the best you can be for her that should show her right there that you are a generally a good guy and wants to make and keep her happy. just knowing that her boyfriend cares about her feeling would make her the happiest and luckiest girl in the world.

You do have to have a relationship talk which consists of you telling her how wonderful she is and how happy you are. You have to tell her that she wants to make you want to be a better man. You tell her that you make me want to be a better man. She should melt at that. You can then say that I want to be the best I can be for you. Tell me what I can do.

Make-up an excuse not to hang out with her for a few days...see if not being able to see you for a few days drives her crazy or not. If it does, then she's happy. If it doesn't, then she's probably not as happy as she could be.
