This question was asked by my friend and i don't know how to answer him because i also don't know the answer. After awhile it makes me feel curious cause some people need that someone for their protection not because they need them.

it might be love or need... if you luv someone you dont wanna lose it coz you know losing him or her will hurt your heart. and people dont wanna get hurt. also you might need your boss for money, but it doesnt mean you love the that person... so it could be two reasons to need someone... love or need...

Do we need them or love them? Or need them as a attachment cling. Love and need are different. Feel lost when somone not beside you, doesn't mean love that someone, it maybe a need. Emotional need or said 'emotional attachment'. Love is more than that... Love not possess someone or need that someone to be around to feel secure, protect, or we misunderstook the term 'feel love'. Cute gal, ask your friend to take time, to search own feelings. Or what I feel is "search the path towards love"... If she really still confused, welcome to post questions again.

There is need and then there is needy. There is a big difference. We all want to be needed. We also want to love and give love. Another factor that I just figured our resently is that we tend to love someone who makes us feel good about ourself. Thus, there are many componants to what makes us want to be with someone.

when you find the one you love; you obviously fall in love with them and eventually at some point in time, it feels like the two of you are the same person... you grow on each other and that bond continues to grow. at some point in time this relationship becomes a necessity; whether it leads to marriage, a family, etc... you need this person because they are your support; mentally, physically, spiritually, etc...
if you lose this person, you feel like you've lost yourself. but in life you always have more than one support group. you also NEED others for love and support (family, friends, sports, hobbies, church, etc...)

It depends on individual perception. Some they need someone because they needed it and it depends on their needs.In short they need someone for selfishness just by using other people to acheive their needs.In otherhand some need someone because they really love them and thats what their heart tells them to do things they can just to prove that someone on how they care about them....

We need the people that we love...if we need them but do not love them than you are using them and that is just wrong.
