I am dieting but like to have and occasional drink. Does anyone know how many calories are in a 2oz. Apple Martini? I love them but I don't want to blow a good week by drinking to many of them. And yes, I know I shouldn't be drinking them at all but I can't deny myself of everything!

Don't worry about the cals and have a good time. You sound like you are young and can burn off a drink with a walk in the park.

If you wanted to know about alcohol, it has 9g, to carbohydrates 8g, and protiens 4g to consume.

A little splurging is definately in order if you have been good all week though, your body will adapt to an increase in energy and start to work harder to burn them, that is why the "party sometimes never ends", we turn into Energizer Bunnies when we experience an excess of energy, either from your martini or a good bowl of pasta.

I wish you well on your diet, but having an occasional drink will not hurt you.

I got the same problem I love my beer but have had to cut out all alcoholic beverages in order to lose weight not worth all the hard work to have a few drinks to get back to square one. If you have one or two maxmimum in a week it should be ok but dont exceed cause those pounds will come back faster than what you think

to be safe, add the total calories of the vodka and apple mix you are using. unless you want to get mathmatical and figure out how many oz. you poured. Over estimating is better and might keep you away from it if you see the total :) but I'm sure one won't hurt. Just not everyday lol
