......a hoax or 'could' it be possible?

Of course an MD is going to say its impossible....theres no money in curing a disease...BUT, there is in treating one, for years and years etc...

Its been used for thousands of years for this purpose and shown in clinical trials to be effective. I doubt something that tried and true is a hoax. Of course, it should be used as part of a healthy diet, not as a quick cure after abusing your liver or something like that. I've heard great things about the Thisilyn cleansing system. Its not soluable in water, so tea won't work... capsule or tincture only.

milk thistle, in a fitness perspective, is usually seen to be used by serious lifters who use supplements that can seriously damage their liver (ie steroids). herbal remodies like milk thistle have been shown to help relieve some of the damaging long term affects done by steroids by a process i am not really sure of lol. although i dont know the exact process/ science to it, there have been many studies that show it works (not to mention every bodybuilder around).

essentially you could use it when you drink excess alcohol, but thats another story...

IS TRUE, but I have a bad reaction that sends the enzymes to the roof. Ask the M.D. I was just in a Hep C class today,& that's one of the things taught
