well i met this girl a couple weeks back and well we got along very well right away. we talk about everything with eachother and well im starting to like her. a couple of days ago she told me that she dreamt that we were going out and she thought it was weird because she already has a boyfriend. what does this mean?

Well, it could just mean that she has a very hormonally-driven sexual appetite....meaning, it's natural for her to work out her sexual tension in many ways, including while dreaming. Might not mean anything more than that. However, if you think there could be a reason for her telling you about the dream, you could be right. Whether she dreamt this or not, obviously she found it entertaining enough to enlighten you about it. This may be because it was interesting to her, or, she thought it might be interesting to YOU.... you might try asking her WHY she thought she'd tell you about it. Maybe she's flirting, maybe it's innocent. Be careful though...she does have a boyfriend-- either way, she's "taken".

That she had the dream means almost nothing. And that she tells you about it doesn't mean much more than if she told you about some other kind of dream.
But she DOES like to talk with you, and she's not averse to going out with you. So you can build from there. E.g., have hypothetical discussions with her. "If we WERE going out, what would it be like." Maybe you can agree on some very appealing scenarios!

It means that she likes you and was checking to see how you feel about her in a no-nosense kind of way!
When you get up the nerve--ask her out! She is feeling you! She went to sleep with you on her mind---that is the reason she was dreaming of you!
