YES, it can be played on 90+% dvd players.

Just see if the model will play it. But most will.

The majority of the new DVD players can play VCD's. The older ones are less likely. Figure that if the player is more expensive or has a well known brand, then it will be more likely to play the VCD's. I have had only one or two players that would not play the VCD's that I made.

VCDs will not play on every player. Just check the owners manual. Also if you have a computer equipped with windows media or a mac or Linux equivalent (VLC or quicktime) they can all play VCD.
