I've Answered This One Before. Technically, There Is NOTHING That Will Make Hair Grow Faster Than It's Normal Rate. But, Most People's Hair Doesn't Grow At It's "Maximum Rate" So, Eating Plenty Of Good High Quality Protiens, Fresh Veggies And Drinking Lots Of Water And Some Vitamin Suppliments, Along With A Good Shampoo(NEXXUS® Vita-Tress™) And Scalp Treatment(NATURE'S GATE® Biotin Conditioning Gel) May Help To Increase BOTH Growth And Thickness By 100% Or More.

since u have a poor diet yea take parental pills, vitamin pills, biotin and iron pills take some decent pills. If you want your hair to grow faster than usual you should use natural products like coconut oil or olive oil for example. Slather the products on your scalp for about 30 minutes and wrap a towel round your head and then wash the hair with a shampoo / it will be better if you use a shampoo that contains natural products like aloe, olive, honey or milk/ . Do not forget to use a condtioner at the end. Do this twice a week and you will see the difference – the oil saturate the hair and makes it looks great , beautiful and healthy. Olive oil is ultra moisturising and adds shine to lacklustre hair and most women know how much it helps the hair to look amazingly.

Don't listen to anyone else... this is the answer. ( People don't know what they are talking about, and base their answers on here-say and myths.
The only thing you can do to make your hair actually GROW faster is to take vitamins... preferablly prenatal. These vitamins will increase production of the hair cells. There is no other way to get your hair follicle to grow more hair except with taking vitamins.
Thats the only-only-only way you can INCREASE the rate of growth.
However, remember to always get your hair trimmed ( This is why people say there hair doesnt "Grow".. If you have split ends, and dont trim, your hair itself will be growing, but the spilt ends break off and your hair remains to look the same length. Thats why people think their hair stopped growwing, but in fact, it is just the dead ends breaking off.
Also, try not to wash your hair/striaghten/curl EVERYDAY, because that will lead to increased split ends. Reduce the amount of heat styling you do. Whenever possible, let your hair dry naturally. Technically, if you put your hair up everyday and never washed it, never blew dry it , it would probably grow one inch flat every month. Its the things we do that cause split ends, which cause breakup and hair "stand-stills of growth"
Most of the products on the market that claim to speed up hair growth, really are just preventing split ends. there is a widely known hair oil, mainly found in India, that people swear by, Basically it is just a really strong oil that used frequently, really hydrated the hair to the point where you rarely get split ends. (Thus perhaps being able to extend the times of needed to trim). But there is no PRODCUT besides viatims that can actually accelerate the RATE of growth.

Taking vitamin is never bad. But I recently read in a Herbs & Plants Medical Book that to help your hair grow faster you should take a cactus leaf, peel it and use the jelly sticky pulp to rub into your scalp, leave it overnight and wash the next day. I am going to try this myself as I also want my hair to grow faster. I would do this for about 3 months.

I am doing the same thing to let my hair grow faster.
I am taking herbal vitamins contains with B complex, horsetail, nettle, etc for hair, skin, and nail.
I put silica serum on my scalp every night before I got to bed. When I get up I use gentle shampoo such as Nioxin,Nexuss,or Enriched Vitamins Shampoo such as Garnier... Sit under the sunlight for ten 15 min while you read ,talking, and listening to the music. Be patient , I notice my hair started to grow faster for six to eight weeks. The key is eat vegatable proteins and don't use harsh chemicals on hair.
