yes...i really wanted to know what the things are called for the hair...hair wraps? head wraps?....india arie used to wear them...and the scarf like thing covers up the whole head and is wrapped in a bun at the back of the head...so u cant see the hair at all. i really like that kind of style....so i wanted to know exactly what they are called..and possibly where i could buy them at??......also do u think having the hair like that will take the hair out..since the hair wont be getting much air?..

They're called head wraps. The look can be achieve with any scarf, mainly a big one. U could also get with a shirt. It just depends on the length of ur hair and how thick it is. The celebs we see with them probably get them made or order them from somewhere can this look can be done with any piece of smooth cloth.

Scarf, head scarf, head wrap, hair wrap ... all sorts of names for a piece of cloth tied stylishly around the head.

Definitely a Black thing, Erykah Badu used to wear a huge one and African ladies often wear very colourful and complicated scarves.

You're unlikely to be wearing one all day everyday so unless your hair and scalp get especially oily and sweaty there should be no problems.

No of course not, your hair doesnt need air. I think their called Bandanas, Hidab... Idk.
