There are a few lifestyle changes that you will have to do to lose excess fat.
1. Take a good look at your diet. Is it a healthy diet or filled with sugar, fat and white carbs?
If so your going to have to change it to start burning the fat off.
Rely on whole grain products like 100% whole wheat whenever you crave carbs. It must say 100% whole wheat otherwise it's basically white carbs and they are high on the gi index.
Eat tons of raw and steamed vegetables. They are low in calories and high in fiber. They will help you stay full without adding excess calories.
If you eat meat, only eat meat with the visible fat removed and if you eat chicken, remove the skin before eating (the skin has tons of fat).
Keep your water intake high. Have at least 8 glasses a day.
Don't drink juice. Have the whole fruit instead. The fruit has added fiber which will allow the sugar in the fruit to be absorbed more slowly. Drinking juice spikes your insulin levels which then has your body turn it into fat.
2. Now that you are starting to eat better it's time to add exercise. Although spot exercises don't work alone, mixing spot exercises with a good diet does work. Do a bit of aerobics (walking, jogging, running) which ever you feel more comfortable with. If you don't want to go outside you can always walk or run in place or run up and down stairs. Stairs is not only good at burning calories but will tighten the thighs, butt and stomach.
Whenever possible walk instead of taking your car or bus. Have a dog? Take him/her for a good long walk. It will do you both good.
Crunches are great for the stomach. If you cross your arms in front of your chest, you will get a better workout and will be able to do less crunches. After a few weeks add some weights by using hands weights when you do this. That will put you really into high gear.
Can you make a slant board? That's another way to make crunches go further. Don't get hooked on doing hundreds of crunches. You can do 25, But do them very slowly. This will work your muscles much harder.
Remember the alternate toe touches in school? These are actually good for the love handles.
Leg lifts will also help both the stomach muscles and thigh muscles. Just remember to lift with your stomach and not your back. If you have not done these in a while start at 20 and work to 100. You'll notice a differance pretty quickly.
If you start working out and dieting now you'll see a major change by May!

I found the book to be very informative and easy to read.
I've lost 17 pounds in 12 days, I'm just concerned that I'm losing too much weight, too quickly. I will admit I haven't followed the guide exactly. I'm not sticking perfectly to the listed foods and meal plans (but mostly) and doing very little exercise, but the weight keeps flying off.
It clearly works and if I'd followed it exactly I think it would scare the living daylights out of me because of the amount that I'd lose. So thanks again for the information. I've never purchased anything like this before because they are usually full of trash, but 3WD has been a pleasant surprise.
Get started today!

Try changing your diet. Excercise is only part of the question. Look into speaking with a nutrionalist and have them evaluate your body type. They will recommend healthy food choises for your body type. Then stick to your new diet and excercise plan.
I lost 50lbs last year by changing my diet and taking on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu training. It's tough but man does it work. My diet was based on a living food diet. Basically you don't cook your food. you eat mostly veggies and a little fruit. But it melts the weight off and you feel great the whole time. Check out www.vibrantinnergy.com for a good source of info on this diet.
You can talk to those guys for quick answers on what to do in making steady dietary changes that will work for you.

If you have stubborn belly fat, the only way you can reduce your fat is by doing aerobic exercises. During activities like swimming, rowing and walking, enough oxygen is supplied to the body to burn fat. Fat is burned from all over the body, including the stomach. Try some Pilates. It works great! You can purchase them on dvd or vhs - it works wonders!
For your thighs you can do lounges and swats
Crunches work ok for your stomache but if you get a big exercise ball and do the crunches on them it works better
And for your chest you can do push-ups. They are also really great for your arms!
