First love always ends up dying lol...well in most cases. I mean especially if the first love of yours is from your childhood. You dont experience being enough with relationships with other people to know whats a perfect relationship. When you keep on thinking your first love will always never end, then you're missing a lot of other great potential guys for you, which might be right for you, that you didnt noticed.

no its not true, technically.
Its your first "intense" feeling for another. So you remember it the best. If that relationship ended, the feeling fades away and so do some of the "bad memories" its part of your brains coping mechanism so as we can continue on with life and try another relationship, hence when you look back at it in 10 yrs time you only recall the wonderful parts.

The memories don't but the love surely does. I laugh about it now, but when we broke up at 17 after being together for 3 years it was real hard for me.

i think it stays with you. i have been married 12 years and i madly love my husband, but when i am around my first love i still feel a little flutter for him. it always makes me smile to hear that he is doing well. and it made my heart full to meet his wife and kids.

depends, to think about it the memories i had with my frist love never died, but the feels sure did.. if i could go back and get them back.. thats questionable.. but i know for a fact that memories of your first love never dies.. depends one the person if they have the same feelings for them
