hi, im a 18 years old guy, my height now is 5' 9..

but from last 5 years i observe my self that my height increases just about 6 cm.. (from 2002-2007)

im not a sportive guy that play sports every time..

but from small age i like to drink a calcium supplement ( it consist calcium hidrogen phospate), and that boost my height increase ( i think )

so its really true??

now onwards i start taking the same calcium supplement again..

and in a year normally how many cm does the bone in a growing child like my age increases??

and i have this paranoid that my height doesnt increase because i like to jerk off??

makes me alot confused!!

Your height is predetermined by genetics. You can stunt it by improper diet but there is nothing you can do to be taller. (Yes, there is surgery where you can have your leg bones separated and plates put in to lengthen your bones but this is only done for those of severely less than normal height. It is also very painful with a long recovery period). A male will continue to grow until age 21.

The fact that you "jerk off" has no impact on your height at all, neither does taking calcium supplements. The calcium just makes your bones strong but does not make them grow or lengthen.

There is no way to predict how much a bone grows in a year because everyone is different and grows at their own pace. Of course, there are growth charts for height that the doctors use, but if you've ever looked at them, there is a wide range of normal for each age to cover the individual differences of children.

Btw, 5'9" is not short so I don't understand why the concern. You will be as tall as you are meant to be. Enjoy who you are.
