Women, what attracts you to nasty and/or belligerent men?

Okay, so I'm 22 and in college and am still confused over what exactly makes the girls practically wet themselves when they encounter the most vile man they can find. For instance my roommate is about 60 lbs. overweight, sucks his thumb, picks his nose and eats it, collects action figures and smells like feet, yet manages to date a cheerleader. They both have a laugh when he slaps her a** in public and she comes up with all kinds of excuses as to why he didn't call the night before (when I caught him f-ing a "friend" from back home).

Now, this isn't some misogynist rant, but just a simple question. So tell me girls, what on earth attracts you to something that disgusting that will only f**k you, then snub you?

sometimes just the insecurities he has is so cute and you just can't help it but love him. and sometimes the immaturity just makes you want to be there with them all the time.
