But I have to make it blonde first. Someone said to use peroxide. Um, so how do I go about doing that? Just put peroxide in my hand and start rubbing it on my hair? I put a little bit on my finger and was stroking it on a strand of hair, but nothing happened. Maybe it wasn't enough.

DO NOT USE PEROXIDE! Peroxide by itself will make one heck of a mess of your hair. It will do so much damage. Don't do it.

If you have dark hair and are trying to get it to go blonde, then do highlights, the best thing to do is go to a really good salon. I don't reccomend going to the salon for much to do with color, but brown/black to blonde is the one thing that you absolutely should not do yourself. For some reason, if you don't choose exactly the right shade, which most people don't, you can end up with hair that is slightly greenish.
If you are a med to dark blonde and just want a lighter blonde, use something like Garnier true tone or the one that comes with the highlights in the box, it's by Garnier too.

try not to use peroxide. not too sure where u are located. For most asia countries, they have pharmacies like Guardian or Watson's. These stores will have hair color products on their display shelves. Some popular brands are Loreal, Garnier, Wella etc. Most hair color products comes with gloves and hair conditioner. Remember to put on e glove before you touch the hair dye, as the product is damging to skin.

You might consider doing a skin irratation test by rubbing a little amt of hair dye onto your forearm. wait for 10-20mins and see if the skin feels irritated. if it does, better don't use the product.

most importantly don't allow any of the hair dye to get into your eyes.

no no no no no peroxide!!!!!!!!

your hair will go blonde and then turn OORRAANNGGEE

get a hair dye product from the store. they sell the primers.
then put the color on top

be careful not to use too many drastic dyes, your hair could become very dry and start breaking.. do it right if your going to do it, and go slowly... dont do it all at once.. it could damage your hair for a very long time.

peroxide would cause damage to your hair and when another color is applied your hair will not take the color correctly it will leave it with unwanted tones i reccomend that for any type of blonding or bleaching to go with a proffesional because your hair can break off if bleach is not done correcly

DO NOT USE PROXIDE, you hair will turn white, then orange, it will fray your hair and will eventually fall out NO JOKE, try using a hair bleach kit. they are not that expensive.. then get the color you desire for your hair..
