Im having a lot of trouble with going out and working.
the thing is, that my social life is very important to me and for my happiness.
when I stay home at night i get bored and i need to go out, and because of insomnia i dont sleep until 4am anyways.
how do i balance this idea of work and play though. because after each night of play,, i have to wake up at 9am.

go out and come home before 4am. that's not unreasonable. and if you drink, drink less during the week. if your work suffers, focus on improving that however you can, and if tht means not going out for a while to get back on track and rework your schedule, take a break.

your social life will still be there in a few days.

i really depends on where and what you intend to do when u go out. If you have to work the next day, just chilling out the night before will be good enough. Set yourself a time to reach home and rest. clubbing should be left to the weekends when u know u dun have to work the next morning. It's better to wake up fresh in the morning to work and stay alert rather than yawning the whole time due to lack of rest.

simple, u look forward to the next night u'll be going go. that'll motivate u to work hard for the money, Oh so hard for the money.
