Want to replace old home windows with the new dual pane energy conserving and sunlight blocking type. They don't have to be fancy, but otherwise good.

Andersen windows. They come with standard LoE4 dual pane. You have to get their 400 series though. Andersen will raise the overall value of your home if you have their windows installed. LoE4 has a thin titanium dioxide coating on the exterior of the glass. When it rains, it washes off any dirt or grime which is on the surface as well as LoE, which blocks UV rays from coming through.
Andersen can be expensive, so if you are looking for an alternative, less expensive window, go vinyl. It comes in white and/or a few more limited colors, but dual pane is pretty standard these days. On standard size double hung windows like 2' x 3' for smaller homes, or 3' x 4' for larger homes, prices range from $100 to $300, depending on where you get them from. Home Depot sells American Craftsman vinyl windows, for a relatively low price. I would check them out.
Hope this helps! Have a great day!
