Most marines I have met are kinda like them in the movie. is that everyone elses thoughts?

I think you got it backwards.

The characters in the movie Jarhead act like Marines.

That is pretty much how marines act. Many Army infantry soldiers too.

I didn't see the movie but I always thought if I'm in trouble in another country the first person I want to see is a US marine.

I lived with the Marines for 6 months in afghanistan, and no, they dont act like that

marines are molded to have attitudes and that's what makes them a marine. They are number one and the Presidents men...they have to be the best.

lol yeah the way people act in that movie is pretty acurate. Watch it again and pay attention to what they say about the pro-masks......thats real too.

never seen the movie. in my experience the drunker they get the bigger and badder they get.
