Definitely. Jesus said of the one that was to betray him, that it would have been better for him to have never been born. Judas went out and hung himself and all his bowels gushed out. He did not "repent" as evidenced by both what Jesus said and the actions of Judas himself. If he had truly repented he would not have hung himself and Jesus would not have said that statement about him. Judas is in hell today and has been for the last 2,000 years or so and will be forever.

We know Judas committed suicide before Jesus left to go to the Father. You will see that in Act 1:1-8.

It doesn't matter what I think, but what is recorded in the bible. Jesus taught Judas like the other disciples (apostles). Judas saw Jesus after he rose from the death and before Jesus returned to the Father. Judas committed suicide.

Did Judas went to Hell? God, not man, judges.

I think he committed suicide because he was so sorry for what he did wrong. But that doesn't mean it was right for him to take his life. I believe that if he would have stayed alive and asked Jesus to forgive him, he would have written most of the New Testament like Paul did, since Paul took Judas' place. The crucifixion had to happen. I don't think God would hold one in error for something that had to happen. When Jesus was on the cross, he begged the Father to forgive those who were crucifying him. So why would he not pray the same prayer for Judas?

Some background:
Adam BECAME a living soul (Genesis 2:7)
The soul DIES (Exekiel 3:19)
After death, there is NO consciousness (Psalms 146:4)
Hell is the GRAVE (Psalms 104:29)
So, yes, if that is what you understand from your study of the Bible, then Judas definately went to hell. If, however, you are listening to men and they are telling you about some place of firey torment where displaced souls suffer for eternity----you are as a blind person following blind guides. There is no such place and God would not do that (see Jeremiah 7:31).

I don't believe in hell, but I did see this one fairly bad movie that suggested that Judas was punished by being turned into the first vampire. Hence the problem with crosses, silver (the money he was bribed) and was forced to walk the dark forever. (It really wasn't as cool as my description makes it sound).

Only according to Dante.

If Judas existed, then he died like any other man and most likely stayed dead. End of story.

I don't think he did. Jesus was not dead yet and Judas was. When jesus went down to hell, we don't know why he went there or who he went there for. Judas had to do what he had done. He may not have understood it. He may have been compelled to do it. So, it would be unthinkable to punish someone for doing something, you needed them to do.

No. I believe he was part of a greater plan, whether he knew it or not. If Jesus had not died at that time, in that manner - it would have been another to stage the event. His death and Resurrection were the salvation plan for you and me. Because Judas played a part in it - and, I believe, asked for forgiveness because he knew Jesus was the son of God, even though he hung himself, he has a place in heaven.

Judas part seems to have been necessary for our salvation. According to the bible, Jesus said it would have been better for him if he'd never been born. I doubt if being born was his idea, though. I want Judas in heaven. Let's try to sneak him in with us. Everyone wear big hats and frock coats.
