I sincerely hope immigration will be very near the top of the list of issues. If the candidates are listening to the people, REALLY listening to the citizens of the USA, then they will come up with some strong proposals on what they plan to do about illegal immigration and stop talking about "paths to citizenship and amnesty or amnesty that isn't really amnesty," etc. I hope it has hurt McCain, but I doubt that he thinks so. These guys/gals just don't seem to get it! They had better stop trying to brush off questions about immigration and stop trying to avoid the issue - doing that alone should hurt them in their campaigns. We want to hear proposals about border security and immigration that are going to REALLY do something about illegal immigration and no more bandaids.

The unlawful Immigration bill will damage everyone`s campaign it truly is in want of passing it !! basically bear in options how a procedures away this election is , a year ? you've a lot of time to positioned in writing the total lot each candidate says` , or says` he / she will be able to do . 6 months from now bypass over your list and note who the real real BS`ers are , and watch them fall by ability of the wayside ! in the course of the subsequent few months because the topics` replace , or new information are got here across about a controversy that differs` from their unique position on that issue ; then you definately can honestly unload the turn flopper's who've been uncovered by ability of no longer status on their unique position , and could bend over so a procedures because it takes to charm to the overall public of the " issue on the prompt voters" ! You bear in options between the more beneficial popular ones` ; " I voted for the conflict earlier I voted adverse to it ' syndrome ??? The phony`s ,the liars, the cheats, and the sneaks` will practice you their real hues in case you provide them adequate crayons`... easily one of your best alerts of a turn flopper is the actual undeniable actuality that they can't and could no longer answer a sure or no doubt , they with take you down a rabbit path of spin and speaking factors so as at the same time as they're finished you're scratching your head questioning what the crap did I ask them ??? This for both activities so as now to not confuse everyone ! the priority with voters at present is that none of them can admit they`re incorrect at the same time as they know it !!!

Yes I certainly do feel it will be a huge issue in the 2008 elections.
And I feel that McCain's chances grow slimmer with each day that passes. Hes a good man on a personal level and fought bravely for this nation while in the military. His time as a POW proved he is a strong person. But I personally will not vote for him. I am from his state of Arizona and his stance on illegal aliens is not popular with the general public in our state.
Republicans said they thought Mr. McCain’s identification with the push for easing immigration laws could prove to be among his greatest vulnerabilities. “Senator McCain will be hurt badly if he continues to support a bill like last time,” said Senator Jeff Sessions, Republican of Alabama. “I think he’ll have a hard time defending that piece of legislation. I think it would be important for him to demonstrate that his position on immigration is not defined by the bill that he introduced last time.”

Yes it will be a huge issue and I think the fact that McCain keeps saying stupid things will hurt him more than anything else. He needs to think about his words a little more because even though I'm middle of the road he was looking like the best candidate for awhile.

Yes, without a doubt. People want someone who is in office who will UPHOLD AND PROTECT THE CONSTITUTION AND THESE United States AGAINST INVADERS!!
I know I for one am tired of the Politicians only doing things to protect themselves and not standing up for this country.
