I saw a show on tv once, where a woman could apparently talk to dead people. And she would tell the families

of the dead people what they were telling her, and the family members were like wow my mom is just like that and you couldnt have known this unless you are relaly talking to him. Has anyone ever heard of one of these supposed communicators with the dead having gotten information from the dead about what the afterlife is like, or any secrets to the universe or world or new knowledge that the dead people might have that they pass on to this person. Cause in this show there was no info from the dead that would interest the whole world, just the families. Not that I believe this is def real, no reason not to though, but even if isnt real, has anyone claimed to have secrets of what the afterlife is like or secrets of world from dead people?

The Bible says that the dead know nothing at all--they could not communicate and would have nothing to communicate with the living. That is why it was considered wrong to even try to communicate with the dead and it was punishable by death in the days of the old testament. What appears to be personal information from dead loved ones is actually information from demons who hung around the family and saw these things (or heard them). They are repeated for the purpose of convincing us all that Satan was right and people who sin against God really don't die at all. Remember, that was his very first lie and he is still trying to pull it off!!

The bible has already made itself clear about this thing. We,as humans, do not have a "third substance" who is capable of "returning back" to talk to the living. These are all part of human imaginations that was planted in our brains since we were in our mother's womb. Every info and data that is stored in our brains about "spirits" and "ghost" can be released at any given time and projects images based on what we have heard. As simple as that. Bible says "Faith cometh from hearing". We heard so much about all these things...we read so much about all these things...until we have believed them.

good point, not to sound like a jerk, but if people can talk to the dead then let's get something that can help humanity, not just give grieving families closure. It's a little sketchy to me.
