NO I did nothing to her the transaction lasted but a few minutes with no words echanged(except for the total and the change). This woman has always been rude to me..she's a lazy cashier who always rings stuff up wrong and gets into arguements with customers over price matches. She stopped "liking"me when I went to the manager about her one day.So now, whenever she sees me she rolls her eyes(very conspicuously;so I can see it) and starts mumbling under her breath. This time I heard her say b*tch it was barely a whisper..so I smiled and when she handed me my cash I said,"aren't you supposed to take my bags off the carousel?"LOL!

I don't know that you should have "made" her do anything. I would have reported her to the manager immediately.

What you did to her to cause her to say that was that you went to the manager before about her. That was great, and I'm sure the right thing for you to do. NOW, however, it has gone WAY past rude. As soon as possible, go to the manager and tell him this story. If he doesn't do something to satisfy you, then take it to the divisional manager if this is a large chain (you can usually find the chain of command online). Write the divisional manager, copy in a Vice President. Wait a few days, if you don't hear anything, find out the name of the President or owner of this establishment. This clerk should be fired. There's no excuse, there's no excusing. This is not revenge, either, this is standing up for your human rights and dignity. Good luck, and I hope you follow through.

It doesn't matter if you did anything to make her call you that anyway !! You are the customer !!! She is in the employment of that store !!!!!!!!! She needs to be wrote up at the very least !!!!!!!!!!!!! I'd call the manager over and say? What is your cashier's problem? See what he does !!! If a cashier is rude to me I make it a point to go through her line everytime if she is working. I just kill her with kindness !!!

I dont see nothing wrong with it. Its ALOT less than I woulda done. U have the right to be respected, just like everyone else. If she continues, y not tell management? Chances are, she'll b fired or something along those lines. Do you mind telling me what store it was? I would be interested to know :)

As a customer, you are in the state of mind that every customer believes.. "i am always right".. Which sure, you are. but you don't have to stoop to a demanding level. Instead be a better person. Just smile at her and wish her a good day. Make sure she knows she isn't affecting you. You are just making a worse person of yourself.. Infect goodness, not anger!

The next time you shop there, avoid going to this cashier. Problem solved.

You should have reported her to her supervisor.....that type of behaviour is not acceptable anywhere, from anyone who is supposed to be serving you. She became a cashier to serve others so she should do it no questions or comments.

did you do something to make her say it? i am a cashier, and every day i deal with at least one person who is so rude i almost have to confront them because its just that rediculous. dont just assume she was rude, you could have been rude to her first. it was rude of her though to actually say anything audible to you, and you should have told her manager not "made" her do anything.

Why don't you avoid the confrontation, unless you need to have it, by shopping another place? Do you have a choice to shop somewhere else? If so, think about doing that. Everybody will calm down and everybody will be happier.
