There are many alternatives to Christianity, but none of these alternatives are viable for eternal life once you have died and are standing in front of God.
Only one of the earth's religions, Christianity, possesses all of the following attributes:
1. Other religions revolve around their founder’s teachings, rules, regulations, and rituals. Christianity, however, revolves around a Living Person, the Risen Lord Jesus Christ.
2. Christianity is unique because it is based upon historical facts and the revelation of God in the Bible.
3. Christianity is the only religion that offers the Assurance and Security of Salvation
4. It is the only religion that teaches that salvation is a free gift of god’s grace. There is nothing a person can do to merit salvation, since it is received through faith, apart from works.
5. Other religions were started because of man’s attempt to search for the supernatural, search for the truth, appease their innate sense of sin and guilt, and find favor with his god. But Christianity is the account of God’s search for mankind. "For the Son of Man has come to see and to save that which was lost" (Luke 19:10; John 10:10). His love for us was the reason He has revealed Himself to us through His Son Jesus and by His grace we are saved (Ephesians 2:8-9).
6. It reveals God as the Triune God - God as the Father, God as the Son, and God as the Spirit
7. Christianity is exclusive in its claims. How is Christianity Exclusive?
A. The God of Christianity is claimed to be the only true God (Jeremiah 10:10; Jude 25).
B. The Bible is claimed to be the Word of God and the only true revelation from God (Isaiah 8:20; Revelation 22:18-19; 2 Timothy 3:16).
A revelation from its God contained in a book that has survived over a period of time greater than any other religious or secular text in all of written history; with its content 99%+ intact from the originally inspired texts.
The scriptures of this group contains contents are unmatched in their reliable historicity and doctrines, having had NOT A SINGLE contradiction, logical fallacy, or historical fact invalided by mankind's best attempts using logic, philosophy, or science.
The original prophets of this group have prophesied correctly in every instance (over 600+ with two yet remaining to be fulfilled) described in this book.
C. The Biblical Way of Salvation is the only way of salvation. There is no other way (John 3:36). No matter how good, religious or sincere a person may be, unless he or she has faith in Jesus they will not be saved. "Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
D. Jesus Christ claims to be the only way to God, the only way of salvation and the only way to eternal life in heaven (John 3:16-17). Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me" (John 14:6).

Well your question makes a mistake in the assumption that the Catholic church is "Christian". The only place in the bible that describes Catholic dogma refers to it as "the teachings of demons". So, if what you have posted here is true, then it should not surprise anyone. But it really doesn't matter what the Catholic church decides or does not decide. They do not have the power to be effectual on the world scene anymore. It has lost it's power and influence so that even those who profess to be Catholic do not take the church seriously anymore... I wouldn't worry about it too much.

You must be talking about the illuminati (not sure if I spelled that right). It has been going around that the church (Catholic) has kept this big secret all these centuries etc. Don't buy into the nonsense. It is no more than speculation just as is the Jesus tomb things and the divinci code. In fact, this info you are referring to is discussed in that book. As I said, don't believe everything you read or hear. Does it really make sense that the church would suddenly declare this information now? Hardly.

There are many alternatives to Christianity. God is not owned by the Christians, and the bible is not the only "true" word of God, regardless of what the Christians say. God gave His word to everyone on earth, according to their ability to understand Him. Some people understood Him in terms of sacrifices, as the Hebrews did. Some people are limited to preliminary information, and instructions, like Christians. Others can understand more advanced knowledge and philosophy, such as the Buddhists. Still others are given even more complete knowledge of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, Himself.
God doesn't simply give His word to one group of people, and let them control who receives it. That would be disasterous. Each individual has a relationship with God, personally. Every living being is on the path to God. Some are less advanced, and some are more advanced. God gives to each of us realization according to our level of advancement. As we advance, we become dissatisfied with the limited nature of the scripture we have, and we seek more complete knowledge. Sometimes, when we haven't yet found that advanced knowledge, we become atheistic, or agnostic. It doesn't matter. Eventually, God gives us the enlightenment we seek.

About 150 alternatives, according to a YouTube i saw the other day.
I don't suppose it incudes the alternatives that have gone extinct, like the old Greek and Aztec religions, or the Mithra cult that so influenced orthodox Christianity. 150 isn't a whole lot to cover the 2500+ gods we've created throughout history.

Why does everyone try to get around the one simple and basic Truth that there is NO SALVATION OUTSIDE OF JESUS CHRIST!? It doesn't matter how you "package it" or what else you "call it" - the simple Truth is that to be saved you must be born again by the blood of Jesus applied to your soul. HE must be your Lord and Savior, living in your heart. This is the one Truth that you will face when you reach eternity - WHAT DID YOU DO WITH JESUS? Did you believe and accept or did you refuse and reject?

Only if this religion conforms that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and believes in the Apostles' Creed.
If they do not do this, then it is against the true church of Christ.
And if this comes to a Church near me I will be certain to say away from it...
for it will be the anti-christs church- so to speak

Sure. Believe in yourself. You are the one who controls your destiny. What you become and how far you go depends on your choices and decisions. Along the way, if you get help from an unknown source, just say "thanks" and mean it.
