ADD occurs in the frontal lobe of the brain (right behind your forehead). The frontal lobe controls Short Term Memory, Impulse Control and Emotion Regulation.

Typically with ADD, folks are not able to focus -- UNLESS they're playing a video game==then they can hyper focus. Most people can play a video game and talk at the same time; a person in hyper focus can only play the game.

Lack of organization is another key factor of ADD.

Your doctor may be able to diagnosis and treat the ADD; many doctors like to refer to psychiatrists.
