Why do the handsome ones all go for bad looking women with little personality except to worship their husbands and not much else.....? No personal interests, accomplishments or inner beauty either. What do they see in them then? Do they date and marry ugly women to feel safe?

Maybe they don't see them as bad-looking. Men all like different types of women. Some like ones that are a bit meatier, some like ones with smaller breasts, some like ones that are short... Regardless of societal standards of beauty, people are going to have their own preferences.
That being said, men in the sorts of relationships that you mentioned could be trying to avoid an actual relationship. Perhaps they just want someone to be with (either to quench their loneliness or sexual urges). Perhaps, to them, having a not-so-great girlfriend is better than no girlfriend at all. I heard someone suggest that some people are in relationships because they fear solitude.
It's also possible that these women have beauty that you just aren't seeing.
Yet, if it is the case that these men pursue doting women, consider this: who doesn't like to be worshipped? Maybe they like to feel like there's someone who cares about them or maybe they just like being doted on because it's flattering. The relationship may not be enriching, but some people would gladly take attention and complete and total devotion over an enriching, meaningful relationship. Again, maybe having an actual relationship isn't a priority to them.

I agree that beauty is in the eye of the beholder! I also believe that a lot of guys like to date or are more attracted to average or slightly above average women, because women who look exceptional on the outside are usually a problem for most men because they're always gettin' hit on!. Thats not a good thing for the average "Dude" who is not mentally strong. To have a beautiful looking women/girl, you must be "strong minded"! I think that when you get a little older and experienced, you become stronger mentally and therefore you will be able to take on the "good & the bad" of being w/a beautiful women/girl. Remember, the better looking women/girls need a man too!. Don't be afraid, try it and get experience to learn how to deal w/them. Also as far as the personalities go, everyone has a different personality, "ugly" or not! Go for what you know!

It is not necessarily so; "bad looking" women could have hidden personality.
Perhaps those men don't have enough courage/self-esteem to "handle" a powerful, independent woman? In any case, the women that aren't "bad looking" should not be concerned with that type of man, because those men would probably not be able to give them what they need from a relationship.
I think it's best to let those men have their preference, and just enjoy being who you are.

One word "personality" you could be the most beautiful girl in your town but without good personality no one will ever look for you. If you are having this problem then I would suggest to try to change your personality a bit, you know if your too shy than start talking, if your a loud mouth that never quiets down then try to be quiet for a change, trust me it works.

I've wondered the same thing!!! I agree with you, I think they feel more secure/safe! And I'm not saying 'ugly' women really, but generally, its always those women that do not take care of themselves, no etiquette, dress sloppy, untidy hair, rude, etc. etc.

Maybe because they know that no one else will be interested in them if they are ugly and unattractive. It there way of being able to have control over the lady.

Maybe to those men their women are beautiful. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Jealousy is not attractive. Just be who you are.
