Gods justice will be carried out no matter what. Remember that Jesus paid the ultimate price for the sin of all mankind. Even if that supreme jerk Hitler were to ask for forgiveness God would be merciful. But really, I find it hard to believe that Hitler actually asked God for forgiveness before he died. As for Castro I have not seen anything that smacks of repentance. But he's still alive at this writing so maybe. But I will hold my judgment. As for Pol Pot, he is another ultimate piece of work who murdered and tortured his own people to the tune of 1 1/2 to 3 million people. I don't know the exact stats.

The justice is within the collective actions of everyone who enabled Saddam and Hitler and others to commit their horrific actions.

Many people helped Hitler to accomplish his goals. Hitler did not stand alone against the entire world, and kill millions without help.

Saddam's crimes were not done single-handedly either.

Some people agree to do nothing about it. They feel justified in complaining that the events should not have occurred, but do nothing to change it.

Would Hitler be forgiven for his actions if he asked for forgiveness and refused to take the blame for his crimes, based on the concept that his defence to God is "I didn't mean it"?

Forgiven.

Yes, if Saddam, Hitler, Castro and Pot repented and asked God for forgiveness at the time of their deaths, He would have forgiven them. Jesus died for all of us, no discrimination. I really doubt that any of the above asked for forgiveness before dying.

just asking for forgiveness does not mean we are forgiven- we have to accept Christ as the payment for our sin. God is a merciful God- if Saddam, or Hitler or anyone else for that matter asks Jesus to be their Savior, even at the time of death they will be in heaven- Jesus gives us mercy and grace- WHAT WE ALL DO NOT DESERVE- Forgiveness is only through Christ.

The Bible says that ALL people will be judged according to their works. But, God also wants all people to be with him. If even those people asked for forgiveness and were believers in Jesus the savior, they would and should be forgiven regardless of what they had done. Forgiveness does not mean that they will not be judged for what they have done. The difference is between being forgiven and being allowed to live a life of peace or not forgiven and be forced to live a life of torture and remorse.

Justice is the price Jesus paid so that we can have Grace.
True Justice required that there be payment for sin, and Christ did that. We now live under Grace and have to believe and accept the Gospel of Christ's forgivness. By GRACE are you saved through faith .

Yes, anyone can ask for forgiveness, even just before death, if they truly believe in Jesus and are repentant. However, that person is missing out on a life time of blessings if they wait until then.

We are all sinners. All of our sins caused Jesus to have to die to pay for them.

Jesus is our justice if we accept Him as our Lord and Savior.

I have read that Jeffery Dahmer came to Christ before his execution. I hope so.

who's been teaching you...? The Ayatollah Khomeini...? To have the word of God protect your life, you must first believe that it does... and God knows your heart... just to spew out crays of seeking forgiveness as you die won't cut it... monsters like Hitler and Saddam did not go to their deaths whispering the name of Jesus in forgiveness... nor will they be given it. I can only picture in the "theater of my mind" the scene as Hitler stood before God on "that day"... as he is now serving his eternal-sentence in hell... as will the rest of the ner'do'wells who curse God and blaspheme His Spirit....
Yes... forgiveness is available to all... even Saddam... "if" he truly wanted to repent and acknowledge the Lord...(which he didn't)... hope that help you a bit...

You are right. If we ask Jesus to forgive us of our sins at the moment of our death, HE is faithful and just and will forgive us. That's plain and simple no matter who we are and what we have done. Just like Jesus forgave the man on the cross next to Him, He will also forgive us.

The Justice is that you have the opportunity to do it too. However you are leaving an important part out. You have to sincerely repent and feel sorry for what you did that was wrong.
