People keep saying Christianity is love, and respect,etc...

Yet, most Christians here have shown nothing but hatred against us muslims, disrespecting our dear and beloved prophet with lies and propaganda, with them knowing we can do the same back to them, because we love and respect jesus(PBUH).

Why are most Christians here so hateful and closed minded if they always say christianity is love.

Most Christians live in glass houses. Simple really.

WHat is your justification for "hate" and "close-mindedness"? Please let me explain this question because as it may seem obvious, there is an important distinction that needs to be made. In today's society where everyone must be a victim, if a person says anything negative about someone or some group than they are immediately labelled as you have. Is this what you mean by your comment? Does someone who may present a different (maybe not a rosy) picture of Islam suddenly hateful and closed-minded?

If, by not following the lies that are given by our media that Islam is a peaceful religion, I am hateful, than I guess I am hateful. I have read the Q'uran and had many interviews and researched it from many different angles because I am in search of the truth. My research, though, continuously points away from Islam being the peaceful religion often portrayed by the media. Beating wives, treating others (non-muslims) as slaves or lower humans, lieing openly to advance the Islamic faith, jihad: these are not peaceful, loving qualities.

Now, I will not condemn anyone and I am always open to possibly being wrong. However, with that said, I must also know who the enemies are for my family and my nation.

Most people in america, most christians. Don't know the truth about muslim people. There are so many lies. Most of us know so very little about what you believe. Most of us don't know many muslim people at all. By the way , I'm not christian. I have a few muslim friends that I love very much. I knew nothing about muslim people until I met them. I had no idea about anything that muslims believe. I was quite shocked when I found out what you guys are really like. We are lied to alot. It is not most of their faults. But yes, they should be more open and less harsh.

It's mostly ignorance and stereotyping. Most US citizens only know of the Muslim tradition based on what the see on TV, which is usually related to war, death and suicide bombings. These same people are familiar with Christianity and comfortable with it because of this knowledge. This comfort helps them to overlook the many historic tragedies perpetrated by Christians of various denominations (such as the inquisition, the crusades, lack of assistance for the Jews during WWII, continued segregation and oppression for Blacks in the South, etc.) Additionally, most people in the US see Islam as a single, monolithic faith. There is little awareness of the various forms or "denominations" (to use a Christian term) within the faith.

I will say what i always say......most people don;t understand their religion mine is very clear on our relationship with the Muslim faith and very clear that we are brothers and sisters both children of God:

841 The Church's relationship with the Muslims. "The plan of salvation also includes those who acknowledge the Creator, in the first place amongst whom are the Muslims; these profess to hold the faith of Abraham, and together with us they adore the one, merciful God, mankind's judge on the last day."[330]
842 The Church's bond with non-Christian religions is in the first place the common origin and end of the human race: All nations form but one community. This is so because all stem from the one stock which God created to people the entire earth, and also because all share a common destiny, namely God. His providence, evident goodness, and saving designs extend to all against the day when the elect are gathered together in the holy city. . .[331] ~ Catechism of the Catholic Church

and Mohammad was very clear of his accceptance of loving Christians:
And there are, certainly, among the people of the book, those who believe in God and in that which has been revealed to you, and in that which has been revealed to them, humbling themselves before God. They do not sell the Verses of God for a little price, for them is a reward with their Lord. 3:199

We sent forth Noah and Abraham, and bestowed on their offspring prophethood and the Scriptures. Some were rightly guided, some were evil doers. After them We sent other apostles, and after those Jesus son of Mary. We gave him the Gospel, and put compassion and mercy in the hearts his followers. 57:27

Obviously if we can;t love one another we aren't listening to our own founder which is the one God.

I'm really sorry that you have experienced cruelty at the hand of Christians. You should be careful not to assume that we all the same in the same way that I would not label you as a radical. Our religions have a lot of similarities and neither of them promote hatred. Good luck in your quest to show Muslims in a positive light.

just because I hate what I believe to be errant teachings, doesn't mean I hate you. I wage WAR constantly against Catholicism and the "Bishopric in Rome"; but doesn't mean I hate catholic people. My in-laws are catholic (don't hate them) my wife was catholic when we married (before I became a Christian, don't hate her), my mother was raised Catholic (don't hate her.

This verse best describes the way I feel:
Eph 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

wrestling not against flesh and blood means people...truth is I'm no respecter of persons..I'll hold the door open for ladies and gentlemen with out regard to race, religion, sex or anything...well unless they start shooting...LOL

principalities, powers, rulers of darkness, spiritual wickedness in high places...are ALL fair game
BUT, still doesn't mean I get to bomb the Vatican...
Luk 6:27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,
So if I obey the commandments; I have done both good to and blessed my enemies.

The weapon I use is the most powerful weapon the world has ever known, if you wield it as the Lord wills. like any weapon you must be careful not to hurt innocent bystanders.
It's a sword of the absolute purest quality and would make "Excaliber" look like a cheap pocket knife...
EPH 6-17............ the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Besides all of this...if you obey the commandments you are at least my neighbor..

I am a Christian and I do not disrespect you. I think it is important for all of us to study other religions to understand our own better.

Please, bear in mind, that many of the people here do not seem to be very mature. There are a lot of incorrect statements and answers from both sides.

Study archeology and manuscripts to understand more about the history of the scriptures. Do not be troubled by opinions, but study to show yourself approved of God.

Im sorry youve experienced this from alot of christians..but to me even most of Christians believe that by being against another religion it makes it right to be mean to the person without knowing what they believe..i personally share love for Muslims and SOME of their beliefs..however i believe that if muslims believe in God then why should they make their own separate belief instead of coming to union with CHristians..after all dont we share beliefs?

I think that it is wrong to lump all Christians together just as it is wrong to lump all Muslims together. All Christians are not hateful and all Muslims are not terrorists.
God Bless you friend.
