Where are many of our brandy's and rums produced? Some of the more popular or common brands as well as some of the more expensive rarer good quality ones?

Captain Morgan's rum but I don't drink brandy so I'm not sure what to expect - sorry!

The most common brands of brandy are Christan Brothers and Presidente.
For rum, Bacardi and Captain Morgan are some common brands. Captain Morgan is a spiced rum so it has a different flavor. There are also flavored rums, like Malibu and Parrot Bay. They have flavors like coconut, mango, and pineapple. Rums are most often produced in the Caribbean from sugar cane.
