they're both good cars but depends on what you use it for. Is300 less sporty and more mature while the rx-8 is more fun to drive, the interior and exterior are odd looking. both cars don't get good mileages, around 15-20 and requires 91 octane. If I had to choose I would prefer the RX-8 because of the performance.

The Mazda RX-8 is available in a manual.

I assume you're referring to the Chrysler 300, I have never seen one of those in a manual.

I like the IS300 over the RX-8, the only reason is I trust Toyota's product over Mazda... reliability and ride quality. I think the RX-8 is like Go-Kart ride, while the Lexus is more comfortable and roomier.
