Do you bother to read all of the Christian's responses? I try to but some of the answers are sooooo long and beat around the bush that I stop reading and think that there could be something better to be doing with my time.
Am I the only one with this problem?
CHRISTIANS, do you have the same problem reading some of the long responses left by atheists? If so can you elaborate?
Thanks.

If I were agnostic I would be more of a deist, as I cannot see how a god or gods can stand around and watch humanity destroy itself over religion.
I used to be agnostic, now I'm atheist. So I'm ridiculous for not believing in something until it is proven? I think your ridiculous for giving it the benefit of the doubt.

Sometimes I do get a little annoyed when someone feels the need to write you a book instead of giving a answer or opinion.
I must admit I was tempted to write you one but fought off the urge because it would of just been a little mean spirited and sarcastic to do so.

"each and every time I see an atheist asking a troll question, posing as a Christian (consistently a bigoted one), " or you in elementary terms desire to think of that. because of the fact there are some very bigoted very idiotic persons on the Christian ingredient. yet i think it rather is less demanding to easily call them atheist trolls. "and not the Christians." Uh huh. "his question would not even sound like what a Christian might say." i've got considered Christians spout the main hateful drivel possible. people like NCWJ.

No, you're not the only one. Yes, I do get bored when catholics and others continually come here to parrot some scriptures, or post questions that are really not asking anything, they just spread their self-righteous views on matters like "Abortion and free sex." To top it off, these parrots talk about "respect" when they clearly cannot respect others who have a different opinion or offer criticism.

Many "christians" do not know what they are talking about when they respond to atheists. They don't do it in their own words. Makes them sound so dumb, and apparently they look like blind followers.
On the other hand, atheists make very clear about what they want to say. And they do it well.
Me? I don't bother to read "christian" answers.

I try to keep my answers short and to the point for that very reason. Too many words dilute the point of an argument.
FYI
Atheism is just as ridiculous as Christianity. You are both engaged in the act of believing something you cannot know: whether or not God exists. Agnosticism is the way to go.
--response to "additional details"---
you said "I used to be agnostic, now I'm atheist. So I'm ridiculous for not believing in something until it is proven? I think your ridiculous for giving it the benefit of the doubt."
you are NOT "not believing." In fact, you ARE a believer. By laws of logic, the only "nonbelievers," the only ones "not engaged in the act of believing" are the agnostics; they are in a category all their own.
Atheists, by laws of logic, assuming you are a logical person, are in fact engaged in the act of believing; they believe in the "Non-existence" of God. They are NOT called "non-believers." They are called "disbelievers."
And what do you mean by "giving 'it' the benefit of the doubt?" What is "it?" God? As an agnostic, I can do something no other can: I can give the benefit of the doubt to both christians and atheists because both of them are believers; they have different beliefs, but both are engaged in the act of believing.
Having such strong beliefs on things one can not know is foolish. As an Agnostic, I know that I cannot know anything about the existence of God (or gods) AND my choice to not believe follows accordingly.
Most importantly, any atheist who calls himself a "non-believer" should be ashamed of himself for being such a hypocrite by describing himself as the very thing he claims to not be. Agnostics are nonbelievers. Agnostics are not Atheists. Atheists are NOT nonbelievers. Atheists are disbelievers. Atheists are believers in the "Non-"(existence of God).
PS-- i made this EXTRA long just for you.

I went to a parochial school, so it's pretty damned rare an Xian has anything new to say to me. Blah blah blah, John 5:12. blah blah blah, Exodus 21:4....
No big wonder though, they base it all on crap that was already outdated almost two thousand years ago.

I generally prefer to read and to write answers that are well thought out. It doesn't matter to me so much how long they are, or who made them

I don't read answers from anybody (Christian, Muslim, atheist, pagan, or Martian) if they are clearly copy-and-paste answers. I can google my own info, I'm here for people's actual opinions.
