I met my bf on this site well we were friends first before we became anything else. But I was just wondering if there could be any sexual predators or something on this site. Because I've only known him for 8 months and recently I gave him my cell number and we talk and txt eachother except he lives in the U.S and I live in Canada.

There are sexual predators both ON and OFF the net.
So you've never met your bf in person??? hmmmmm....
I once had a phone convo with a guy who sounded like he was in his twenties, but turned out to be over 40!!

Yes there could be sexual predators on this site, yes Yahoo can potentially become dangerous if it's used in a way not intended, (exchanging personal information). It is vital you keep your personal information secretive. There is not a screening process for Yahoo members.

Of course this site could be dangerous. All the Internet sites are. I personally couldn't "be" with someone I met on line. But some people marry. And are happy. You just need to be careful.

I think there easily could be sexual predators on any site... but that's risk you were willing to take when you replie to him.

yes to a certain extent, cause folks ask questions, get others opinions about a topic, and if that person cant clearly think about what is best for him/her at taht time they may end up going out and doing something stupid cause someone said it was a good idea here.

Sexual predators are everywhere. If you think he is one then ditch him. If you don't think he is then meet him and see how he is.
