If you are under 18 and don't have parental consent, do you really need a tattoo? The kinds of places who will do that aren't going to be great about taking care of you if you are unhappy with the results. I would only consider going to a reputable tattoo artist for something that will be on my body for the rest of my life.

You can't ; maybe the rub on kind . But seriously if you need parental consent that means you are not 18 years old yet and it would be a good thing if you waited til then because the type of tattoo you want may change and where you would like to put it may change. I would say just wait because you would be happier with your tattoo done by a professional not by these amateurs . I think you should decide where to get .one arms and hand would be off limits if you are thinking of getting a professional job in the future so choose wisely and your best tattoo you get is when your older. I should know got one when i was younger i got one that was done wrong and i had to get it fixed.

I would really advise against this. First of all, if you want a tattoo that bad, you will still want it in a couple years when you won't need parental consent. Second, any artist that will tattoo a minor without parental consent, is probably not the kinda person you want making permanent marks on your body. I suggest you wait.

It is illegal to get a tattoo with out parental consent and any place that will do it without a signed document and a parent with you is most likely no the most reputable place and they may not be clean. So i think you should consider if hepititus C for the rest of your life is really worth having the tattoo a year or two sooner?

Goodness sake, wait until you are of age
What tattoo you get now, you will hate in 10years
Wait until you have time to think about
I wouldn't even send my dog to any studio that pierces people without a consent form or ID check
Chances are any place that does that, it isn't safe or reputable and i highly doubt that the people working there are professionals, do you really want someone like that to be scarring your body for life?
Wait until you are legal, it will be safer, less hassle with your parents [if they found out you got one done without your consent, not only would you be in hella **** but so would the person who tattooed you]
Listen to the advice you are given here

Nowhere. All reputable and licensed tattoo parlors/shops will ask for a valid photo ID and will copy it for their records. They must provide proof should the authorities question them.

Do NOT try to get around this. A tattoo is NOT an emergency and is NOT something to be done without thought.

(I have 2 tattoos and love them, but had I gotten any at a young age, I would have regretted it...tastes and interests change a lot and tattoos are permanent)

Relax, enjoy being the age you are, research exactly what you want tattooed, and once you are old enough, go for it.

you'r having a kid a 13? ok ummm well, u will still need ur parents consent, and since you have already said that they will not allow it, then you will have to wait until your 18. but there are some tat shops that will do 16 year olds but you need a state ID or something else saying that u are 16, and even then, you will need ur oarents consent. honestly, you 13 years old, ur having a baby. how about u just slow down and wait on the tat? think about that baby and even though u r VERY young, u need to be there for that baby and there are VERY expensive so you most likely will not be able to afford a tat for a long time. trust me, my daughter 1 1/2 old before i was able to get a tat. i am not goin to jugde u for bein a young pregnant girl, cuz we may never know why u got prego. i mean, u got have got raped for all we know! but good luck anyway, and wait for the tat, atleast right now.

Well....do it at your own risk but depending on the shop you can usually get by with having an older friend pose as a parent or something along those lines. Some shops won't ask for parents consent (although they could get in trouble for it) and some won't even bother checking your age.

Sadly you can get it at very nasty dirty places like indoor swapmeets but i really don't recommend doing that because of the fact that if they are willing to tattoo or pierce a minor without paren't which is illegal then they obviously arent worried about sterile conditions and making sure they don't reuse equipment for different clients so my advise would be either ask a parent to go with you or wait till 18 and go on your own

No where with a good reputation. If you're under the legal age then you shouldn't be doing it without consent.

If a place will risk their license to do it, what else are they doing that may be putting you at risk? If they don't care about the law that says you have to be a certain age then they may not care about the law that says they have to clean their equipment.
