I'm 30 and often I see a beautiful and attractive older woman. I don't necessarily want to date them or flirt with them. However I was wondering if you would want me to tell you that I think you are attractive.

Would you want me to say:

1) I think you are really beautiful.
2) I think you are really attractive.
3) I think you are really pretty.
4) I think you are really _____
5) Just smile.
6) Make small talk and then say... by the way I think you are beautiful / pretty.
7) Just make small talk but don't mention it.
8) Say nothing keep it to myself.

I've never done this and was wondering if any of them would be appropriate (besides #8 which is what I normally do). Would it make your day to receive a compliment like this or creep you out?

ok option

9) Compliment her. Her smile, hair, eyes etc...

But what if I think she is entirely beautiful?

To be more genuine, admire anything they did or one certain feature (say the ways her eyes sparkle) or the gold highlights in her hair. Say it once and don't gush to keep it genuine. Small talk first then a brief but genuine compliment should work :) Many women don't get compliments, so I think it's always nice to receive one. I esp. like it when a man holds a door open for me and smiles.

If a guy comes on too strong - some women might feel the guy is being weird, you are better off playing it a bit cool bc there are so many weirdos out there the woman may get the wrong idea about it.

It depends. I think on average, it's always nice to hear a nice and sincere comment on how we look. It would definately make my day. But I think it has to do with the person behind the compliment as well.

You say you're 30. So if you carry yourself well and look like a normal guy and say in a nice and honest way to an older woman that you think she is beautiful, that would probably most definately be a compliment, since she is hearing it from a younger guy. Now if you said this to a 19 year old, she would probably be kinda creeped out. You know what I mean??

I think I'm rambling nonsense again.

It depends you don't want to getting a compliment from some drunk. But usually a woman loves to get compliments from the opposite sex. It makes us feel good about our self's. I would prefer for you to say:

1) I think you are really beautiful.
2) I think you are really attractive.
3) I think you are really pretty.

.
6) Make small talk and then say... by the way I think you are beautiful / pretty.

9) Compliment her. Her smile, hair, eyes etc...

I remember once a man and his wife were chatting to me at a bar while we were waiting for our drinks. The husband turned to his wife and said that girl has the most amazing smile and then she complimented me as well. That was one of the nicest things a "stranger" has said. It made my night.

Perhaps just focus on one thing you find really outstanding in these women and vocalise it to them. A compliment can do so much - and just because you say it, doesn't mean you have to sleep with them or date them ;)

um. women love to be flattered like this but if you are not in a relationship with them it would maybe be a little awkward. i think number 3 would be most appropriate for a stranger that you dont know or dont wanna get involved with cause if you tell any woman that they are beautiful then i think we all automatically think you want to get with us . so pretty is a more nuetral word. hope this helps.

if you are not interested in getting to know the person, it probably would be a little weird. Usually when that situation arises(and I see beautiful women and hot men all the time) the person noticing will just admire the other person to themselves.
