Yes I am! My husband & I live with my mother in-law since we got married 2 yrs ago. At that time my older brother in-law just got separated. Early last year, he found a new girlfriend through a dating website and since then he moved back in to my mother in-law’s house. And late last year he moved his girlfriend in as well without even informing us! We kept waiting for this girl to leave, it's been 3 months now and she's still very much here and apparently has no plans to leave ever. You asked how to handle it, too bad I can't give you the answer because I can't. We're moving out soon despite our difficult financial situation as it's putting a huge strain on our marriage. One thing for sure, whatever's bothering you about her, you can't change it. You can only accept it or move out. I can't accept it, everytime I see her it bothers me, I don't even remember why now, it just does. And lately I've even started disliking my brother in-law, in my eyes he's becoming more and more selfish and more of a loser each day for moving this shameless girl in without even caring about how we feel. So all I can say is do whatever it takes to move out, even if you can't afford it now, make it a priority to save for a new place, wether it's rented or bought. Believe me, life is too short to spend it every single day with someone you hate.

You have 2 choices -Fight or Flight!
I know how difficult it must be......I understand it's easier said than done but if you have no choice, it's better to wait and bear all the pains till your situation improves! Life is not meant to be easy for many of us.....just make sure you don't take it too emotionally, I mean you can always hear from one ear and let it go from the other so as not to get mentally disturbed and your health is not affected. Have faith!

Well Julie B, if you are an independent person, I'd say move out and go find your own apartment where life would be better.
