I thought to be a Christian you are to sacrifice the ways of this world but instead you justify it by saying you are not perfect. No, you are supposed to say i accept that and im willing to change, where in the Bible does it say you deny your sin and blame it on being human. You are supposed to repent what you realize you have done wrong. Do not act blameless but instead try to live without blame. The thing that makes me deny most christians christianity is that they are saved yet do not want to let go of their old worldy ways and excuses. However, who am i to take the place of God and judge you and tell you that you are not trying. Im just asking Christians to stop acting like by being saved your sins have been forgiven and even if you sin, you are in a safe spot to give out excuses. Nobody is righteous but God even you christians, so you are like everyone, you are supposed to repent and sacrifice those ways by pushing yourself to act like a Christian.I'd like to hea your coments:)

I think you bring up a very good point. Nowadays, it is not fashionable to be a Christian, because to speak our beliefs is to be labeled a bigot, or a homophobe or intolerant or a fundie or a right-winged nutcase, or whatever. Many Christians want to live their beliefs in their own little circle but will behave differently outside of that circle. As a Christian, I myself do try to be like Christ, with my attitude towards others. Still, I struggle, just like everyone else. I realize that if others know I am a Christian, then I should try to set the example of a Christian so as to not cause someone else to stumble in their faith by seeing hypocrasy in me. I think the thing we Christians need to remember is that it is okay to be in this world and to love and accept one another, but that does not mean we need to embrace a sinful lifestyle. To do so not only makes us hypocrites, but also invites Satan to come in and distract us from our walk with Jesus.

Thank you for this question. It was well-worded.

Your right ,but Christians aren`t all the same.We don`t have the same idea of what is right or wrong except of course the true guide the ten commandments. After that you will find that people have strong convictions against a lot of things that I wouldn`t find wrong.Things I think are mainly taught to them through their church or parents etc.... Some women won`t wear pants or make up and won`t cut their hair etc... You see what I`m saying.sometimes man makes it hard for some one to be saved. They think every little thing they do is a sin, when I don`t believe that. The commandments tells us what is expected of us and to believe in Jesus as our Savior and to Love God with all our hearts. How easy.I`m so glad that people aren`t the judge of Christanity. Most wouldn`t make it.

We are supposed to NOT be like the world but it's easier to be like the world and try and fit in. Living for Jesus isn't easing, doing the right thing isn't easy. And you are right as Christians we are supposed to repent and sacrifice the ways of the world.

I take this challenge every day. 'Pick up your cross and follow Me' is the command to Christians.

The cross in those days was the equivalent of an electric chair - it was a serious commitment. I pray that I have the same commitment, with the help of the Holy Spirit.

Right? That's a good rant. What did you want for an answer? I think you covered all possibilities. Are you mad at Christians because we are Christians and you aren't, or because we are not as good a Christian as you are, or as good as whatever you are?

Anymore it is too much to ask of most Christians to give up anything for God. there are not very many true Christians anymore.
