It is wierd she'll poop all day long in there and she won't pee. She'll sit there for forever and still not pee. Then she gets up plays for a little while 2 or 3 minutes and then she'll pee in her panties/pull-up. Even when I take her back in 2 to 3 minutes she'll hold it and pee a little while later. Usually it is the other way around. She's got all the signs that she is ready. Any suggestions?

You can certainly reward her, perhaps not just candy but also stickers (worked wonders with my dd!!).

You could also 'prime' her a bit. Make sure she has had a lot to drink in the 1/2 hour before trying to pee. Also, relax with her, perhaps reading her a story while she is on the pot. You might also want to wash her hand in nice warm water just before... it has a tendancy to make us want to pee!

Good luck!

My daughter loves to pee in the potty. I usually take her after she drinks juice or water bought 10 minutes from there and sit her in her potty and ill read her a book while shes there until she pees you should try it. It works for me but it will get tiring waiting for her to pee, but she'll get tired too and just pee hope this helps good luck.

My daughter is a bit similiar! Not as bad as that but she has more pee accidents. If I take her she will pee but as far as poop she totally takes herself. Now my daughter isn't even 2 1/2 but we do a sticker chart and get her books after so many times she goes. We have 1 stores that have pretty good books for cheap!

Just let her sit there it may take a while then when she pees or does # 2 clap for her. I use to have these things like magic pants telling my daughter she couldn't do anything in them, she had to go to the bathroom. It worked for a while, but then she got wise.

Children are busy little bees...when they are playing they don't want to stop what they are doing just because their little bodies are telling/signaling they need to stop and go potty.
She's already figured out that she stops to go poop because let's face it, that's messy and uncomfortable. Peeing your pants, not a problem, not for her anyway.
Try accidently spilling water on your self or accidently on her and make a big deal out of changing clothes to get dry agian. She'll catch on.
Ok, I have to brag..I never had a problem training my son,,we were on a "road trip" (moving) and I put a pair (old fashioned training pants) on him and he took it from there. lol

I believe a reward such as stickers would be a good incentive at first. I've also heard that running a little water in the sink while she's on the potty will prompt her to go.

i think of it rather is a splash quickly for the camping out trip you have planned. on the grounds that she's excited approximately it i do no longer think of canceling it thoroughly may be a sturdy theory, yet in keeping with risk it might desire to be scaled lower back to passing it sluggish on the park in greater achieveable quantities? That way she might desire to nonetheless get to do the failings she's excited approximately without the tension of the frightening issues. i think of she might desire to handle a time out of a few hours greater effective than an in one day, and he or she might desire to nonetheless get to adventure being out in nature. different persons have given you sturdy advice concerning the rest and that i'm no longer able to repeat it, different than to point which you're making advantageous she is in lengthy term psychological treatment-- this is rather a ought to after what she's been with the aid of. I wish you, her, and your finished kinfolk the main suitable as you help her recover from this trauma.
